Zion's First Haircut!

The deed is done... I have cut the mane. He was being mistaken for a girl. It was time. :( My baby is a big boy. How is it that simply chopping off some hair could make such a huge difference??? He thinks he has officially made the transition from baby to quite a dapper little boy. Oh how I love him!!! :) He has battled a cold the last couple days, but we are on the mend and are more just dealing with a cough. :( Poor guy. But he is tough and remained his happy self most of the time. And he was just perfect while I cut his hair! Brandon took pictures and video and I just went to town on his head! (I am TERRIBLE at actually cutting hair, I've gotten acclimated to just using the buzzers on Brandon's military head with no risk of really messing up!) :) But I am actually satisfied with how it turned out! He is a true cutie patootie!!! I only had one mini melt down in the middle!!! :) At first I just cut the sides and top and was going to try to leave some of his adorable curls on the back, but alas... he looked like a trucker with a hard core mullet! Brandon was about to just grab the scissors and start whacking off curls so I had to get done with my sentimental moment and cut them off. But it turned out fantastic (it still curls, just not the big ringlets in the back) and we think he is cuter than ever! :) He just doesn't look like a baby anymore. :( I guess he is 15 months old! When did that happen??? Well, he's wanted to move on to another activity! :) I'll update with some cute videos soon!
