Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the day!  We go to the hospital at 7:30 in the morning to be induced!  Woohoo! So exciting and unreal. You'd think after being pregnant for FOREVER it would seem real that we're gonna have a baby at the end. .. but nope! :) We still just can't picture being a family of 4! But, we won't have to imagine much longer! Praying for a quick and safe delivery.  Over and over I am saying to myself, "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!" I know this is true, and He will strengthen me with His strength!  :) 

We had a wonderful day.  Zion's last day of being an only child!  Wow. It included lots of puzzle building, play dough, book reading, ice cream and a walk down to the pool.  :) Just lovely.  Okie dokie folks! The next post will include a pic of our beautiful baby girl!  Praise God!  :)

While we wait. ..

A pillow fight!  Yup,  it's a waiting game now.  And daddy and Zion are having fun with thumb wars and pillow fights!  Fun fun.  Zion keeps asking when Ellie is going to come. Our answer: it's God's surprise to us!  And it surely is!  She was due last Friday, so any time now!  Mommy has a cold and cough, so it's actually a blessing she hasn't arrived quite yet.  God's timing is truly the best timing!

Oh what a difference a day makes! My brother Josh is a talented groomer!  :) If he ever wanted to take a break from his engineering job, he'd have a back up career for sure! Rascal is a bit embarrassed this morning,  but is feeling much better without all that fluff!

Zion is such an amazing little boy.  I am constantly amazed at the amount of character, wisdom and maturity that God placed in such a little one.  He knows just what people need.  Especially older people.  He is very sensitive to people's moods and what they are in need of at any given time.  Yesterday, Mother's day, was no different. "Old grandma and grandpa", my mom's parents,  came over after church and Zion took up his normal "care" of them.  He is so sweet.  He asks if they need anything, got them some water, said happy Mother's day, sang them a song and had a nice conversation with them... all un-prompted. He then proceeded to happily sit with them and read the newspaper with them.  What a blessing.  He continually shows me how to be a better listener and meet others needs with a happy heart.  He is such a precious treasure and I am SO blessed to be his momma! !    Brandon and Zion spoiled me with a wonderful  Mother's day weekend! So blessed!  Forgot to take any pics of us all dressed up.  :/ My boys are sure spiffy! :) But did get a quick selfie while enjoying a fresh peach, mango,  strawberry and raspberry salad with my little love!  Hope you all had a fabulous day as well!  Be blessed today!

Home Grown!

We've managed to keep a tomato plant not only alive, but thriving and producing! Woohoo! Zion is a great watering helper and the best picker! God is good and we are enjoying His yummy goodness! :) We picked 4 today and will have more ripe tomorrow! Woohoo!

Build-A-Bear

Had such a fun adventure yesterday with Aunt Tracy and cousin Bailey at Build-A-Bear!  Zion was just all smiles from the second we walked in!  He found his new buddy, Dino Z, pretty quickly and he's hardly put him down.  :) So cute!

37 Weeks....

Getting oh so close to meeting our precious baby girl,  Joelle Miles!  37 weeks along and ready anytime! The bags are packed, the plans are made and the waiting game begins!  But,  we know that God's timing is perfect and she will be here right when she's meant to arrive!  It's just so exciting!  We're going to have a fun filled day in Tucson today. Including, build a bear with Aunt Tracy, bookmans, and church tonight!  Super blessed to have the privilege of spending timewith my family! SO glad I'm feeling better! ! Praise God! ! May you all have a blessing filled weekend as well!

Sesame Street Live!

Last week my mom and I had the opportunity to take Zion to Sesame Street Live here in Tucson!  What a treat to see his pure joy!  It was so fun for all of us! 

And next time we'll be prepared for the extortion! Lol. Cost of tickets $15 each(from groupon), $8 parking,  $10 program,  $5 cotton candy,  and at intermission out came the $8 balloons! Him spotting Elmo for the first time. ... PRICELESS.  Lol. It was quite something, but worth every penny.   How can you resist his smile?  Lol. (and we all know that the cotton candy was more for me than him! )

The last time we saw sesame Street was in Kodiak, when they came with the USO. What a blessing that was!  I had no idea that in the real world it would cost so much! The toys they gave each  military child cost $15 here! So neat that they do that for free for our military families!
