We had the opportunity to take the girls camping at a private Coast Guard beach for one of the last nights that they were here. It Was AWESOME! Brandon and I and my brothers had camped out there with a group of friends the first summer we were here in Kodiak, but this was the first time we've had Holiday beach all to ourselves. It was an amazing experience to have a private Kodiak beach all to ourselves. After getting to camp late after church we ate a lovely meal of hot dogs and beans cooked over the fire. They were the best hot dogs EVER! :)Why is it that camp food tastes SO good??? The 4.5 of us were crammed into a little Scamp trailer that Brandon rents out at the boathouse and before we went to bed Brandon said a special prayer that Britny wouldn't fall out of her top bunk 'bed' that was a full foot and a half wide. :) We fell asleep to the crashing of waves and woke up to an amazing and serene sunrise. It was such a blessing!!!! We loved our time with the girls and will treasure these memories forever!
