My Hubby

This was about 8 years ago, Brandon had just graduated Coast Guard boot camp that morning and we were out exploring Camp May, NJ. What a fun day! Our wedding was only a couple months away... We look like babies! lol. Anyways, I just found this picture and am so thankful to be married to my best friend! My one and only. God has blessed us tremendously and our time together only gets sweeter. To all you newlyweds out there: Don't expect your 'honeymoon' to end. Let it just keep going! Each day, each year, each season of life shared together CAN just keep getting sweeter and sweeter! With GOD at the center of your marriage, this IS possible. Through prayer, selflessness, and learning to communicate well with each other, marriage is AWESOME! Enjoy each other! We'll have been married 8  years this year! Woohoo! Can't wait for what's next with my man by my side!

He is Risen

Easter! We had a beautiful day celebrating the fact that Jesus Is ALIVE! Praying you did as well! It was kindof also a day of rest for us as my little brother Tyler got married on Friday, (IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT!) and we had family in town and made the classic big ham dinner on Saturday. :) So while we may have just had leftovers on Sunday, we fully enjoyed celebrating the fact that our Saviour has risen from the dead to save us and is NOT still in the tomb, but is ALIVE and preparing a place for us in heaven! Do you know Him as your Saviour? Do you trust that He died for you? If you don't know for sure that you're going to go to heaven please let me know. I'd love to pray with and for you! These 2 are the life of the party in our house!:) we just can't get enough of them and their awesome personalities! God is GOOD! SO thankful He chose to give these 2 to us!

JOY

I praise God that His JOY is a renewable resource! When I'm running low I don't need to come up with it myself, but I go to the source of my Joy, Jesus, and He gives me a refresher. His Word is GOOD and just what I needed this morning! Maybe you do too? He will refill your JOY-tank if yours is running a little low this morning too! :) I'm praying that whoever reads this be BLESSED today and be filled with JOY that can only come from Him. :) I heard a great illustration this week: Clowns can make you happy, but JOY comes from God. :) There's a difference. JOY comes despite your circumstances. He can give you JOY despite any storm or season you may be in! Okie dokie. There's my sermon for the day! Haha. :) Be blessed!

New Corners

(I forgot to post this!  But wrote it on Feb 5th! Yikes! ) :)

Well,  our family is turning some new corners!  :D For Ellie,  it's literal corners! She is finding her way all around the house now.  She crawled  to me while I was doing the dishes this morning and was QUITE  proud of herself! Zion is turning many new corners as well.  He has been all about card games recently.  It's his thing. :) He has loved playing weekly with his Great Grandma Reed,  LOVED playing with his Great Grandma Miles, plays all the time with Monny and Poppy, and we play either Go Fish, Old Maid, or War a good 10 times a day.  So fun!  AND,  yesterday he learned to shuffle!  :D He loved it.  I can remember my grandpa teaching me to shuffle.... Good memories! That's just one of many examples.  His teikwondo class is another example of him just growing up before our eyes.  A little Zion Quote of the week for you: "Mommy, when do I turn 5?" Me: "On June 26th buddy."   Zion: 😄 (totally excited!) "MOMMY! THAT'S MY BIRTHDAY! !!! I'm going to turn 5 on my birthday!!"     He says the greatest things! Lol.  He was truly shocked and SO excited that he was turning 5 ON his birthday.  He had no idea!  :D It was a fun filled moment.        Some big corners for our family as a whole are starting to draw close as well!  As some of you know, we are starting a church! Our former youth pastor Henry Ayala is going to be the head pastor.  And Brandon will be the youth pastor! We are so excited to see all that God is going to do here through the Sahuarita House of Worship! (Here is a pic of some of our core people on our first Sunday in the building! ) (We've been averaging about 50 people Sunday mornings!) Exciting!
