New Corners

(I forgot to post this!  But wrote it on Feb 5th! Yikes! ) :)

Well,  our family is turning some new corners!  :D For Ellie,  it's literal corners! She is finding her way all around the house now.  She crawled  to me while I was doing the dishes this morning and was QUITE  proud of herself! Zion is turning many new corners as well.  He has been all about card games recently.  It's his thing. :) He has loved playing weekly with his Great Grandma Reed,  LOVED playing with his Great Grandma Miles, plays all the time with Monny and Poppy, and we play either Go Fish, Old Maid, or War a good 10 times a day.  So fun!  AND,  yesterday he learned to shuffle!  :D He loved it.  I can remember my grandpa teaching me to shuffle.... Good memories! That's just one of many examples.  His teikwondo class is another example of him just growing up before our eyes.  A little Zion Quote of the week for you: "Mommy, when do I turn 5?" Me: "On June 26th buddy."   Zion: 😄 (totally excited!) "MOMMY! THAT'S MY BIRTHDAY! !!! I'm going to turn 5 on my birthday!!"     He says the greatest things! Lol.  He was truly shocked and SO excited that he was turning 5 ON his birthday.  He had no idea!  :D It was a fun filled moment.        Some big corners for our family as a whole are starting to draw close as well!  As some of you know, we are starting a church! Our former youth pastor Henry Ayala is going to be the head pastor.  And Brandon will be the youth pastor! We are so excited to see all that God is going to do here through the Sahuarita House of Worship! (Here is a pic of some of our core people on our first Sunday in the building! ) (We've been averaging about 50 people Sunday mornings!) Exciting!
