Zion was dedicated this past Sunday at church by our Pastor Rex. My parents and our Pastor Stowell and Joan were here from AZ, so we thought it'd be a nice time to do this! Pastor and the congregation prayed over Zion and our family. My fear going into this was that Zion would cry in front of everyone... and he did! :) He screamed his head off! :) But it was ok. He was just hungry right at that moment! Even through the screaming, he was still the most handsome little guy ever! (and he and his daddy matched, too!) Pastor prayed Psalm 127:4 over him and us: "Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth." Meaning that we are praying that Zion will be an arrow for God and be able to spread His love beyond all boundaries. Brandon was given a red rose to signify the blood of Jesus covering our household and I was given a white rose signifying purity in our home. It was an extremely special ceremony!
