Uncle Joshy now has his own little place! And we got to visit! :) it's only about 45 minutes away, but we were all excited to see him and, as Zion says, his new hotel! We went swimming and uncle josh took Zion to get popcorn from the office! :) what an adventure! :) Fun fun. We do miss uncle Joshy being close, but we are proud of him and excited for this new chapter he's beginning!
God is good! Last week a bike we had ordered Zion for his birthday came in the mail.... broken. Poor guy was very sad! We took it back to the store on Sunday and also bought him a helmet that he loved and fit him correctly. And I reordered the bike yesterday morning, despite the fact that it had went up in price over $20! ...Meanwhile, On Saturday evening we had went to a bike safety event, organized by our town, and entered Zion to win the grand prize of a new bike. We had to leave early though, so I happily gave our tickets to some old friends who also have a 4 yr old boy, hoping they would win a bike for him! Well, yesterday, this friend called and said that we had actually won the bike! They had put it together for their son and their son had chosen to pass on it to give it to Zion. ... and they left it on our front porch! :) WHAT A BLESSING! Zion was so excited when he opened the front door after his nap! His very first bike! :) So, enjoy these pictures of Zion's first bike ride, and know that we serve a God who not only meets our every NEED, but also provides our wants as well! In His perfect timing He will provide for us! Thank you Lord! And also thank you to these friends who passed on this blessing to us! They have raised and are raising some awesome kiddos!!
Had a pretty uneventful week. Baby girl is 7 weeks old today! Ahh! Someone yesterday literally asked if she was 6 months old! Lol. We grow 'em big! :) LOVE my chunky babies! Zion loves his sister and his schoolwork, Poppy got a block delivery,backyard monsoons,our pretty purple sage bushes, and sleepy babies. I think that sums it up!
My boy is finally swimming more confidently! Woohoo! Thank you Monny and Poppy for all of your time and loving support for him in the water! He's loving it! And the last picture is what Miss Joelle likes to do while big brother swims. .. she's not a big fan of the water or her swim hat at this time. :)
My beautiful blessing from God are growing up so quickly! Here are a few pictures from the last week! So blessed by these precious treasures day in and day out. What a privilege to have the opportunity to stay home with these amazing children and see them achieve each amazing milestone! Zion looked at me and said sincerely, "I love our baby." :) Our baby is already 6 weeks old! She is SO much more aware of her surroundings! Yesterday she didn't even sleep bc she just wanted to look around and enjoy her surroundings! And admire get big brother of course! Such fun to see all of these changes! Enjoy these pictures!
Had a lovely visit with the in laws while they've visited the desert family for the last 2 weeks. Meemaw and Papa Wo took Zi to one of his favorite destinations.... The pet store! Twice! :) and refilled his empty aquarium. A few names that i remember: Boppy, shake and bake, koover and hirby(sucker fish originally named hoover & kirby.... but I like Zion's version.) :) Fun fun. Auntie britny got to stay here at the house with us and Zion loved going in and waking her up in the mornings with a stuffed javelina that squeals quite loud. And auntie bry surprised us for a couple day visit over the 4th of July! Lovely visit.
